01 / What's inside

What you will step into is access to what running a real company actually cost to learn, provided to you before it costs you the same.

The course

Eleven cases

Eleven real situations from running Nebula, delivered case by case. What happened, the pattern behind it, and the real policy it produced.

The toolkit

Five documents

Five tools that write the documents behind those situations, for your own business. Answer a few honest questions about how you actually work, and each one hands you back a real, ready document.

What a client can ask of you, through which channel, inside which hours, and what sits outside the scope you agreed and costs extra.

Nothing in here creates more work for you. It makes the work you're already doing worth more.

02 / Who this is for

Anyone whose responsibilities have quietly outgrown their price.

If you've ever done the extra hour, the extra report, the extra meeting, and called it good faith instead of naming a price for it, this is where you put yourself.

Sometimes you don't need more clients, and definitely not more of the same. You deserve to be paid properly for the ones you already have. Set clear terms once, and find out which of them were actually worth keeping.

03 / How this works

This runs inside Claude. You'll need a paid Claude plan, and just enough comfort with Claude to install and run a skill.

If you've never done that before, Claude will walk you through it the moment you ask. Nothing else to install. No new dashboard to learn.

  1. 01A paid Claude plan
  2. 02Install and run the skill
  3. 03Answer honestly, keep the documents
04 / About me

I'm Irgen Kini. CEO of Nebula, a software company I didn't start.

I'm educated in computer science, a bachelor's and a master's. I started at Nebula as a technical project manager, with one year of prior experience as a project manager and three as a frontend developer. At some point I decided to use my logic and common sense on people more than on code.

My first project at Nebula was the second largest application in the country: lightning speed changes in requests, a flood of functionalities, no customer support, and a very small team of developers. That project taught me everything I give you in The Dictator in the Room case. In very few words, you learn to use absolutely everything you have, every card you've been dealt, or something fails, and the cost isn't only financial, it's customer trust, which is very hard to earn back.

After three years, I went from technical project manager to lead project manager, and then I stepped up and took on the responsibility of running this company. I stepped in after someone else built it, so the weight of turning down a client's offer, or making things "more difficult" for them by setting clear rules, feels heavier. More responsibility gets factored into every decision.

But there's a point where you have to stop and think. Most of these rules cost us first, directly or not, before they became policies at Nebula. Use them to get the full value of the work you're already doing.

Some of those rules cost me first
01 / 03
  1. A client kept me in four hour meetings expecting me to be his psychologist, financial and legal advisor, on top of a technology partner. Became Client collaboration policy.
  2. Another never paid the last $50,000, because we handed everything over before the money cleared, in good faith. Became Outsourced work and consultancy terms.
  3. Another thought insulting my team was a negotiation tactic. Became Working hours and reporting.
Every one of them

Every one of those became a real policy at Nebula. Not a template. A document people actually sign and actually follow, because I wrote it after living through the alternative.
